Provides the skills and knowledge to conduct temporary repairs to damaged buildings and property accesses (at ground level) to help the residents remain in their house and to reduce further damage until permanent repairs can be completed.

Introduction:

The Storm and Water Damage Operations course has been developed to provide SES members with the knowledge and skills to undertake risk assessments, temporary repairs and other associated tasks following a significant weather event or flooding. The course has been written to satisfy Queensland SES organisational requirements and to reflect the relevant nationally accredited unit PUASES008 Undertake storm and water damage operations

Learning Methods:

This course is conducted via a Face-to-Face workshop. It is approximately 1 day in duration
