SEM0502
Provides the skills and knowledge to assist Police in conducting land searches in all types of terrain in both rural and urban areas. Most searches are undertaken for missing or injured people however, volunteers also assist Police looking for criminal evidence, so the course also covers how to preserve an incident scene to ensure evidence is not compromised.

Introduction:

The SEM0502 Land Search course has been developed to provide QFES members with the knowledge and skills to undertake land search operations and protect and preserve an incident scene. The course has been written to satisfy QFES organisational requirements and to reflect the relevant nationally accredited units PUASAR027
Undertake land search rescue and PUALAW001 Protect and preserve incident scene.
