Provides the knowledge and skills required to carry out the rescue of persons safely and effectively, from and/ or through a vertical environment.

Introduction:

The Vertical Rescue course has been developed to provide QFES members with the knowledge and skills to undertake a range of Vertical Rescue operational tasks relevant to their Units operational role. The course has been written to satisfy QFES organisational requirements and to reflect the relevant nationally accredited unit PUASAR032 Undertake vertical rescue.

Learning Methods:

This course is conducted via a Face-to-Face workshop. It is approximately 6 days in duration with a night component (3 weekends)
